Hello! I am an essayist and an assistant editor at The Yale Review. My work has been published by The Point, The Nation, POLITICO Magazine, The Washington Post, among other outlets. I am also pursuing a PhD in Religious Studies at Yale, where I am writing a dissertation on aesthetics and politics. Prior to Yale, I studied political theory at Princeton and systematic theology at the University of Edinburgh.
I was awarded a 2022-2023 National Book Critics Circle Emerging Fellowship and a 2023 Writers' Room of Boston Fellowship. I serve as the Northeast Regional Co-Chair for Kundiman. I am represented by Julia Eagleton at Janklow & Nesbit. Photo credit: Elia Portnoy |
